Everyday basics are important to have in your closet and I tend to gravitate towards basic pieces that are comfortable, versatile, and can easily transition from one season to the next. I also look for neutral pieces so I can be creative with how I pair the piece and the type of accessories that I wear.
During one of my more recent shopping trips to Dillard’s, I found this gorgeous crepe button down khaki top and immediately new that it would be a perfect basic to wear now and wear later. This Fall, I will be wearing this with jeans and booties! It’s also a great buy as it is on sale for under $50 right now!
For this everyday look, I paired the button down with a pair of relaxed chambray shorts. They have an elastic waist with a drawstring and are made for total comfort. They are flowy and relaxed, which is what I love most about these shorts. They are also on sale for right at $40!
