#HUNTERBROOKESTYLED: Styling Animal Print

Animal print is a staple in my closet and is a HOT TREND this fall season.  Animal print has never gone out of style for me so as you can imagine, I’m thrilled that it is a the top of this years charts for fall trends.  I can never get enough animal print…from dresses, to sweaters, to coats, to handbags, to shoes…animal print is everywhere and it is here to stay!  I’ve always said, and many would agree, that animal print is considered a neutral…at least it is in my style book!

I’m excited to be teaming up with my friend Hunter of Hunter Premo this month to show you how we both like to style animal print.  Hunter and I have been teaming up each month to show how to style a trend in your 20’s and 30’s…sometimes you will find us styling identical pieces and other times you will find us styling a trend and sharing with you, our personal take on that specific trend.  If you missed last months #HUNTERBROOKESTYLED post, you can check that out HERE!

Today, we are taking on animal print and what I love about Hunter’s look is her subtle and understated approach to animal print.  Wearing animal print does not mean that you have to wear statement pieces that are the prominent focus of your look.  Hunter does a beautiful job showing how you can subtly add this popular trend into your everyday look.  She has styled this adorable denim jumper with a cozy fall sweater and a great pair of snake skin booties.

If you prefer more bold animal print pieces, I’ve styled this fun red spaghetti strap wrap leopard print dress. Break up the print with a solid tee underneath and a great denim jacket.  Keep your accessories minimal and let a statement animal print dress be the focus of your look.

Wearing animal print is all about having fun…be as adventurous and creative as you’d like!  Add pops of animal print with accessories like shoes, handbags, or a great scarf or wear a bold statement piece like an all over animal print dress, sweater, or coat!

Do you love animal print as much as we do?!  If you’ve been a bit reluctant to wear this trend, I recommend starting with a great pair of animal print shoes and then go from there.  Once you’ve gotten more comfortable and have gained more confidence wearing this print, add a top, sweater, or dress into the mix!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by…see you back here real soon!
