Summer 2020 is a little different than we pictured but we have done everything possible to make it fun and keep Reins and Addison busy and most importantly…HAPPY!

We haven’t been able to travel as much as we had planned but we did get to enjoy a summer staycation at the Gaylord Opryland Resort which just so happens to be one of our absolute favorite places to visit!!! I’m sharing a recap of our stay PLUS a very special discount for Tennessee residents and non-residents!

We always feel such a warm welcome from the Gaylord Opryland Resort staff and each and every stay at the resort always feels like we are truly away on vacation…it was a wonderful weekend together as a family. I encourage you to plan a visit soon as I know you will enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Gaylord Opryland Resort is truly doing everything possible to ensure the safety of their guests during this time. They are ensuring that guests wear masks and social distance when necessary. Everything is sanitized and VERY clean. We were truly impressed with the additional measures that have been put in place at SoundWaves to keep everyone safe and to ensure everything stays sanitized and clean. We felt very safe while enjoying our staycation.

We enjoyed dinner at Cascades American Cafe which is in the Cascades atrium and we also enjoyed gelato each evening from Bravo. Delta Marketplace was open, which was a great spot for breakfast and snacks and the pizzeria, Paisano’s was also open. SoundWaves has a wide variety of delicious options and we really enjoyed the tacos, burgers, pizza, and salads!

While there, I also was able to enjoy a Swedish massage at the Relache spa! it was such a wonderful massage and I left our staycation feeling relaxed and well rested. I was required to wear a mask during my massage…guidelines around masks are updated regularly so be sure to ask about this when booking your spa treatment.

While there…don’t forget to enjoy a tour on the Delta Riverboat as well. This is a short cruise around the Delta atrium where you learn a lot about the resort. One of the most interesting facts is that the oldest tree at the resort is 106 years old!

CITY and you will too!!!  Nashville is becoming more cool by the day (and more crowded too…sigh) AND there is so much more that I plan to share with you about our amazing city!

One of the questions that I receive most often is “Where should I stay when visiting Nashville?” and I’ve been sharing some of my favorite Nashville hotels over the last several months.  Each hotel is unique in its own way and I plan to continue giving you peeks into some of the best in town.  I want you to have a comprehensive list and then be able to make the decision on where you’d like to stay while visiting!

Often times people travel in for a special occasion…maybe it’s just you and your significant other or you are traveling in with a group of friends.  Whomever your travel plans may include, booking a suite may be one of the very best ways to experience one of Nashville’s best boutique hotels, Noelle Nashville. 

Noelle Nashville’s signature suites make you feel right at home…they had the right idea by creating spaces that ooze comfort and southern hospitality.  Their suites are spacious, comfortable, and effortless.  The decor & furniture is modern yet not stuffy and there are plenty of nods to Nashville throughout.  Living the suite life at Noelle is the way to go…I promise you will feel right at home!  Even if you choose not to stay in a suite, their standard rooms are wonderful as well.  Each room has king sized beds in it, which is so hard to find!

Noelle Nashville, situated in the heart of downtown and surrounded by many of the amazing things that makes our city so special, is one of our city’s top boutique hotels.  If you read my post about MAKEREADY, you have already gotten a glimpse into how special Noelle Nashville is.

Today I am sharing a bit more about their standard rooms and soon I will be sharing a glimpse into one of their gorgeous suites should you wish to stay in a suite instead.

Part of what makes Noelle Nashville so special is its very chic style and what you see from first entering the hotel (the inviting chic and urban lobby) you get an immediate feel for what the rooms will look like as well.

All of their standard rooms have king sized beds in them!  For those of you that travel often, you know that most rooms have double beds and if there are two beds in a standard room, they are almost ALWAYS a double bed.  I’ve personally never stayed at a hotel that offers two king sized beds in a standard room…have you?!  I do think this sets Noelle Nashville apart from some others.  Having a bit more space when you sleep, especially if you are sharing the room with friends, family, or another couple having a bit more space is so important!

Their rooms are so crisp and clean too!  It is minimally decorated, which I appreciate because it offers a sense of peace in my opinion.  The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and have all of the modern conveniences too!

I highly recommend that you consider Noelle Nashville when planning a staycation or when planning your next trip to Nashville.  I think you will be so pleased and truly enjoy your stay at the boutique property!
