Easter is a week away and we are gearing up for a fun week ahead. The kids will be out of school on Good Friday so we are inviting some friends over for a nighttime Easter egg flashlight hunt. We will also be going to church on Sunday and spending time with some our friends then as well.

The weather is going to be absolutely beautiful this Easter week so we are going to be taking full advantage of time together celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

I’m also excited to share this year’s Garden Easter Tablescape with you! I was so inspired by the beautiful daffodils and tulips that have been blooming all around us this early spring, so I decided that this year’s theme should be centered around the rebirth of these flowers, which is also symbolic of the rebirth of Jesus. Not to mention all of the wildlife that we see around our home…we have a family of bunnies that live under our deck yearround and they are now out and about enjoying all the joys of springtime as well!

Our Garden Easter Tablescape features a variety of fresh colorful flowers that make the centerpiece truly standout. After laying down a casual tan and white gingham fabric tablecloth and runner, with a bunny on each end, I laid down 3 faux grass tile pieces that I picked up at Micheal’s. I placed some speckled eggs on top of the grass and then placed a variety of fresh flowers throughout the grass, including some tulips which gave the centerpiece a 3D appearance. The centerpiece wouldn’t be complete without this amazing large grey bunny, which I also found at Michael’s.

I continued to bring the outside in with these large wooden chargers and our rustic flatware. These candlesticks also add a beautiful natural touch to any table setting. I found these modern and simple sage dinner plates at Kirkland’s and these whimsical bunny salad plates at Michael’s.

These adorable bunny pillows and these tulip chair wreaths were the perfect touch tie it all together. I was able to dress our table this year on a budget with some beautiful Easter finds from both Michael’s and Kirklands.

I hope our Garden Easter Tablescape has given you some inspiration to dress your table this Easter! I will be sharing more Easter posts this week including a deviled egg recipe that you don’t want to miss, a delicious strawberry filled cupcake recipe, and a special carrot juice cocktail as well…so stay tuned on and be on the lookout!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by…see you back here real soon!

Like many others, I have a bit of an obsession with Bridgerton…I devoured the entire first season within a matter of a couple of days and was left anxiously awaiting season two. What’s not to love about a period drama series filled with rich stories of passionate love, adoring friendships, and scandalous drama?! PLUS the elaborately gorgeous costumes and picture perfect scenes had me daydreaming of living during that period of time as a member of the Bridgerton family…one can dream right?!

In honor of Bridgerton and Valentine’s Day, I decided to create a Bridgerton inspired Valentine’s Day tablescape fit for high tea with the Queen. This table would be perfect for hosting your girlfriends for a Bridgerton style gossip filled Galentine’s celebration.

To create this themed table, I used soft colors and fabrics including a lace tablecloth and napkins. Floral dishes atop gold trimmed charger plates add a sense of royalty to the table. Be sure to set your table with floral tea cups, bejeweled sugar spoons, a Swarovski coated sugar dish, and crystal parfait bowls. Dress your table with tall white taper candles and an assortment of beautiful flowers, including red roses, to complete your Bridgerton inspired table setting.

Not only is this table setting perfect for a gathering with girlfriends this Valentine’s Day, it is also perfect for other upcoming celebrations like Mother’s Day or even for a small bridal/baby shower.

If you haven’t watched Bridgerton yet, I highly recommend it. It’s such a fun show to watch and get lost in. My guess is, you will find yourself daydreaming as I did and you’ll feel inspired by all things Bridgerton.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by…I’ll be sharing more Valentine’s Day inspiration so I will see you back here real soon!

Aurora…a small quaint snowy New York village on the short of Cayuga Lake. A village with a colorful past, rich in history and historical landmarks. Aurora, a place with old town charm, historic homes and buildings, tranquil open spaces, breathtaking views, the comforts of a small town community, and a slower pace of life. Trees covered in blankets of snow, warm lights shining from within beautiful homes, and a cup of hot cocoa by the fireplace.

This is Aurora…a place that evokes feelings of home and the comforts that come along with small town charm. Aurora is also home to MacKenzie-Childs, a brand that exudes classic home style and offers handmade pieces that will elevate homes with grace and joy throughout the world, including our home here in Tennessee.

This years Christmas tablescape was inspired by Aurora, New York. I aimed to create a warm inviting Christmas wonderland. A table that brings to life my vision of what the MacKenzie-Childs Victorian farm looks like around the holidays with a new fallen snow and the glistening of candlelight that shines bright from within.

These MacKenzie-Childs Highbanks dinner plates have a painting of their Victorian farm on each of them and this image is exactly how I envision Christmas. They are beautiful and of course perfect to use for everyday family dinners all holiday season long. The Supper Club 3 piece place setting in Royal Check compliments the Highbanks dinner plates so well.

The MacKenzie-Childs Victorian farm is surrounded by nature so I envisioned seeing towering pine trees flocked in fresh fallen snow. To bring this to life, I used bottlebrush trees and snow fluff. The sparkle and tartan dinner candles light up my vision of the farm and add warmth and peace.

I’m thrilled with how my vision of Aurora, New York and the MacKenzie-Childs Victorian farm came to life with this year’s Christmas tablescape. MacKenzie-Childs has a beautiful selection of tabletop pieces that are certain to make your next gathering feel like a scene straight out of a Christmas Hallmark movie. I’ve also shared more of my personal favorite holiday pieces below.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by…see you back here real soon!

This years Buffalo Plaid Thanksgiving Tablescape is one of my favorite fall tablescapes to date. I’ve discovered a new love for black and white buffalo plaid…it has started showing up in different ways throughout our home and I love how southern and homey buffalo plaid makes things feel.

This years tablescape was inspired by family, by home, and by daily comforts. I wanted to create an inviting table that exudes warmth and coziness…one that says come as you are…you are loved and welcomed here.

This year I have nested at home more than ever, as I’m sure many of you have, and I’ve spent a lot of time finding pieces that cozy up our home even more. When shopping in Kirkland’s for a few harvest decor pieces, I discovered that they had these gorgeous brushed buffalo plaid plates and buffalo plaid napkins. Of course my tablescape creative wheels started turning and I knew that I had to incorporate these buffalo plaid plates, napkins, and runner into this years table.

As many of you know, I also love mixing prints as well! I discovered these leopard print plates while shopping on Ballard Designs’ website and knew immediately that they would be the perfect compliment to the buffalo plaid plates that I picked up from Kirkland’s. I just love how this combination turned out.

To add a bit of a more rustic feel to this table, I used these wood chargers which I’ve used in many tablescapes before. They are truly some of my favorite chargers to set the stage for a beautiful table.

These wood candlesticks come as a set and they vary in sizes…they are beautiful, a bit rustic, and will be the perfect compliment to your cozy tablescape as well. I decided to go with black taper candles to pull out the black from the buffalo plaid and I love the rich warm feel that they lend to this table.

I also used this gold vase to display a beautiful assortment of fall flowers. Greenery and flowers go a long way when decorating your table.

I hope you will be inspired to create your own beautiful cozy welcoming table this Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for…remember to count your blessings each and every day.

As always, thank you for stopping by…I’m always so happy to have you here. Stay tuned as well because I will be sharing a banana pumpkin chocolate chip bread, an apple cream cheese muffin, and an cream of turkey, mushroom, and potato soup very soon…all recipes that will be perfect to make this holiday season.

A month of love. February is the month of love…a time for Valentines Day and a time to shower extra love on our family and friends. Valentines Day brings you close to your loved ones and its especially fun to show others how much you love and care about them.

I love LOVE and I love sharing ideas with you to help you make holidays like Valentines Day extra special. Today I’m sharing my Shabby Chic Valentines Day tablescape…a table filled with feminine beautiful touches that are perfect for gathering with your loved ones or even your Galentines.

This year I wanted to create a shabby chic Valentines tablescape with lots of pink, floral accents, touches of lace, and buffalo check. Little gold Cupid’s adorn these pink and white buffalo check linen napkins and how gorgeous are these vintage inspired melamine water and wine glasses.

I lit these beautiful pink taper candles, placed vases filled with soft pink roses and babies breath on the table, and dressed the table with gold flatware.

I also created a photo backdrop with faux garland and fresh roses. I love the way this frames the doorway…the perfect spot to capture some pictures with your loved ones or your Galentines. I simply hung the garland with command strips and then use clear wire to hang fresh roses and babies breath from the garland. I’m so happy with the way this turned out!

Most of the items that I used to create this years Shabby Chic Valentines Day tablescape can be ordered quickly. Not only is this table perfect for February 14th but it would also be a beautiful table for a bridal shower, Mother’s Day brunch, or something of the like.

Stay tuned because I’ll be sharing some easy and delicious Valentines Day inspired recipes as well!

As always, thank you for stopping by…see you back here real soon!

I’m so excited to share this years Christmas Tablescape…a rustic glam tablscape with touches of plaid, reindeer, greenery, and wood accents. My idea for this years table came to life after finding these festive christmas tree candles and reindeer table accents from Crate and Barrel. I found pieces at Crate and Barrel, Pier 1, At Home, and Amazon to create a table that is warm and inviting.

When creating a tablescape, first come up with your theme and then build upon that theme. Get creative and don’t be afraid to use your imagination! I always suggest using fresh greenery and candlelight for a Christmas tablescape. Not only does the fresh greenery smell amazing but the candlelight creates a warm and welcoming space for family and friends to congregate around.

I hope my holiday tablescapes bring you a lot of inspiration so you can also create beautiful tables throughout the holiday season! Check out last years Christmas tablescape HERE and ours from two years ago HERE.

I’m also going to be sharing a Christmas morning breakfast casserole and a delicious boozy holiday coffee drink so be sure to check back here soon!

I’m so excited to share this year’s Thanksgiving tablescape and I’m also sharing a delicious Prosecco holiday cocktail recipe! This tablescape is easily one of my favorites as it incorporates rustic and modern elements with touches of gold to add some glam!

Designing tablescapes is something I truly enjoy and I love coming up an idea and seeing it come to life. Sometimes my design starts from simply finding one piece that I love and then I build the tablescape around that one piece. This year, that one piece, were these rich floral table runners that I found at At Home. Initially my idea was going in a totally different direction until I stumbled upon these runners. I picked up two as I new I wanted to run them perpendicular to the table and have each place setting positioned on part of each runner.

The floral pattern on these runners feature colors such as burgundy/red, different shades of green/teal, pinks/mauves, and mustard yellow. The colors truly spoke to me and my ideas for our Thanksgiving tablescape started to shift!

As I shopped at At Home, I found additional pieces like these gorgeous clear glass chargers with gold rims, these teal and white plates also with gold rims, these gorgeous water and wine glasses with (you guessed it…gold rims), and these modern white and gold candlestick holders. I found the colorful candlesticks (which match and pull out the colors in the runners) from Hobby Lobby, the napkins, napkin rings, and burlap runner from Pier 1, the rustic wood slabs in the center of the table from Target, and the gold flatware from Amazon.

For the centerpiece, I placed one of the candlestick holders on top of layered wood slabs to create some height and then placed greenery, peonies, and berries around the candlestick to create a welcoming and warm focal point to our table. We are going to make some great memories this year sitting around our table with some of our family members.

I hope this provides you with some inspiration for your Thanksgiving tablescape this year! I encourage you to get creative, design a space that is cozy, warm, and inviting, and have fun while you are doing it! Simple things like candles and greenery go a long way!

Next up…an easy to make and delicious Prosecco holiday cocktail…

Prosecco Holiday Cocktail

  • Prosecco
  • apple cider *high quality
  • cinnamon sugar

This cocktail is much like a mimosa but with apple cider! Fill a wide brim bowl with cinnamon sugar, wet the rim of each glass, and then turn the glass in the cinnamon sugar mixture until the rim is covered. Then fill your glass 1/2-3/4 of the way with Prosecco and the remainder of the way with apple cider. You can add more or less of either and adjust according to your personal preference. I personally like a little more apple cider with my Prosecco.

Serve to your guest and enjoy! This cocktail would be a great option to have for a Thanksgiving day breakfast as well. Cheers!

Each Halloween, I love creating a spooky Halloween dessert for the kiddos and this year I made these Monster Eyeball treats. They are ooey gooey and sure to bring creepy and delicious fun into your home.

Get your kiddos involved too and let them make these eyeballs as spooky as they’d like. Making these delicious treats is super simple and it all starts with a few simple ingredients!

Monster Eyeball Halloween Treat

  • rice krispies cereal
  • mini marshmallows
  • salted butter
  • black & green food coloring
  • candy eyes
  • red gel icing

To make both green and black monster eyeballs, you will need to seperate your ingredients. For your first batch of green monster eyeballs start with melting 3 tablespoons of butter over low to medium heat and then stir in 3 cups of mini marshmallows. Stir until well blended and the marshmallows are are melted. Add a couple of drops of green food coloring to the mixture and stir until all of the marshmallow fluff is green. Then stir/fold in 3 cups of rice krispies cereal. Fold the mxture until well blended and then set aside on wax paper to let it cook.

Repeat this process for the black monster eyeball treat.

Once your mixture for both the green and black eyeballs have cooled, shape the mixture into balls. Press the candy eyes into the ball and then use red gel icing to finish decorating the monster eyeballs.

I decorated our table with a black lace spider table throw, a spider web runner, a round spider web centerpiece, so spider webs, black and purple spiders, some dragon claw candelabras with spider candlesticks, and some skeleton votive holders.

Almost everything that I used to create my Halloween tablescape this year came from At Home. I’m always able to find the best holiday decor at At Home. I love how spooktacular our table turned out!

Check out some of last years Halloween posts…I shared a kid friendly Witches Brew and some Frankenstein Halloween treats!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by…see you back here real soon!

Planning a Sunday Spring Soiree with At Home for my girlfriends was so much fun! Many of you know how much I love shopping at At Home stores and how often I go to my local store looking for a variety of items for our home. I can always find what I am looking for and often times, so much more!

When planning a Sunday Spring Soiree, all I knew is that I wanted it to be feminine, beautiful, and feel like spring! I also knew that I would be serving a spring salad and a charcuterie board but beyond that, I didn’t have a specific tablescape idea in mind. Going into At Home not knowing what I would find to put together the perfect soiree was exciting…it was like a treasure hunt as I searched for the right items to help me create a beautiful table for my girlfriends.

This first piece I came across was this gorgeous multicolored woven runner with tassels on each end. The style of the runner and the subtle springy colors drew me in! After picking out the runner, I moved to the glasswares area and found these GORGEOUS glasses with gold foil. I decided to pick up both wine glasses and water glasses. The glasses are different sizes, both with gold foil, yet each having a different design. Mixing patterns, colors, and textures is a great way to add visual interest to any entertaining space.

As I shopped around At Home, I also came across this beautiful handpainted tray! The colors were a perfect compliment to the pieces that I had already picked out and the tray would come in handy when serving fruit tea. I also picked out bowls and plates with a similar color scheme but all with different patterns. Mixing and matching pieces to create a cohesive look is one of my favorite parts of creating a tablescape!

The blue votive holders are by far my favorite part of this tablescape! They are modern and so unique and the bold blue color ties it all together. I used the larger votive holder as the centerpiece and instead of putting a votive in it, I put flowers in it! I love the way this Sunday Spring Soiree tablescape came together and my girlfriends were so pleased as well!

We had the best time catching up and enjoying some wine and light bites. At Home had everything that I needed and more to help me create this beautiful tablescape! I’m already excited to host some get-togethers this summer and you know I’ll be heading to At Home for all of my entertaining needs!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by. See you back here real soon!

Thank you to At Home for sponsoring today’s post. It’s partnerships like these that make KBStyled possible.
